  • SGS are Gas Safe Registered so we’re qualified to carry out Gas Safety Inspections
  • We’ll check all gas appliances, flues and pipework by doing a visual inspection to check for any maintenance that may be required and a tightness test to check for any leaks
  • You’ll receive a yearly reminder when your next Boiler Service and Gas Safety Inspection is due
  • We’ll issue a Gas Safety Certificate (CP12)

Electrical Safety Checks and Certificates EICR & PAT

SGS offer a fully comprehensive range of Electrical Testing Services
  • Our electrical Department has been established for over 20 years and all our electricians are NICEIC qualified and licensed to carry out your Electrical Inspection Condition Report (EICR) & PAT (Portable Appliance Testing)
  • SGS is an NICEIC approved contractor
  • Electrical tests are carried out on wiring and associated fixed electrical equipment to check for safety
  • We’ll check if any electrical circuits or equipment are overloaded
  • We’ll identify potential shock and fire hazards in electrical installations
  • Identify defective DIY electrical work
  • Highlight Lack of electrical earthing or bonding
  • We’ll issue an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)
  • We can also carry out PAT testing (Portable Appliance Testing) (at an additional charge)
