We installed:
- 9 x Eurener 400w all black panel (Comes with a 25-year warranty and 30-year performance warranty)
- 1 x 3.6kW Gen 3 GivEnergy hybrid inverter with 9.5kW battery storage
- 1 x Bird blocker protection also included within this package
The addition of a battery system is the key to getting the most out of the energy produced by Solar PV, as it enables the customer to store any excess energy that would otherwise be wasted. Then when their Solar PV is no longer able to generate electricity, such as at night, they can simply switch to battery power with no additional cost. This is especially useful for homeowners who are out at work all day and who tend to use the most electricity in the evenings.
Energy storage for homes without Solar PV
Some batteries are suitable for use even when you don’t have solar panels. They’re designed to store energy from the grid during the cheapest “off-peak” times of day, so you can power your home for less at peak times, when the cost would usually be at it’s highest.
