Getting an idea off the ground or taking your project to the next level can be full of all sorts of challenges and, especially when resources are limited, it can take a while to get there.
Together we’re actively donating our time, skills, and extra pairs of hands to give local causes the boost they need to make a real difference in our community.
Our star-by-star guide above should help you get a good idea of how you can get started – click on each step to zoom in if you need to.
Applications are open to everyone, as long as you or your nominated cause is within 25 miles of Salisbury, you’re invited!
We actively encourage applications from causes of all sizes and industry area. This could range from a community group to a charitable event or service, or a particularly deserving individual all the way up to a larger project that would benefit from a little help.
Once an application has been sent to us, you’ll get an email confirmation letting you know that it’s been received at our end and will be reviewed.
Successful applications will receive follow-up communication from us to discuss the requirements and cause in more detail. Whilst we endeavour to help as many local causes as possible, we unfortunately can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to help all applicants as in most cases significant pre-planning will be required and we’ll need to ensure that we can fit it in alongside our day-to-day schedule.
All applications we receive will be read and reviewed personally by a member of the team (often more), who will take into account several key areas, including the project scope, community impact, timelines, as well as our current bandwidth across the whole of the SGS team to provide a helping hand.
Once we’ve reviewed the application we’ll come to a decision, and if successful, we’ll let you know as soon as we can. Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee a response to every application as we make sure to take the necessary time to review every application individually.
