Wind turbines are one of the cleanest renewable systems that converts natural winds to electricity via gearing and dynamos. Wind is a never-ending resource which is plentiful is the UK. Around 40% of all wind energy in Europe is found in the UK, making the country ideal for domestic turbines.

Any excess energy produced by your wind turbine systems can be sold back to the national grid. This can reduce your electricity bills and even earn you money as from 1st April 2010 you could be eligible to receive cash for each unit of electricity you generate using this technology.

Safe and green technology like this can also reduce your carbon footprint and therefore also reduce the impact on the planet.

In addition, if the turbine isn’t connected to the national grid then unused electricity can be stored in a battery for use when there is no wind.
